II. For the application of child education subsidy, if both husband and wife are civil servants or public school teachers, they should coordinate to have one party apply, and they cannot both apply. In addition, the following matters must be certified in the application form::
(1)The children applied for are unmarried and have no occupation and rely on the applicant for support.
(2)The children applied for do not fall under the circumstances where child education subsidy cannot be applied for as specified in Note 5 of the "Child Education Subsidy Table" in the "General Regulations for the Payment of Salaries and Allowances for Military, Civil Servants and Public School Teachers".
(3)The above statements are true. If there is any false or deceptive act, the applicant agrees to refund the full amount of the subsidy received and be punished according to law.
Note 5 of the "Child Education Subsidy Table"( as attached )are as follows:
Children of civil servants and public school teachers who fall under any of the following circumstances are not eligible for child education subsidy. However, this does not include those who receive scholarships for outstanding students, scholarships for needy students, scholarships from private organizations, or those who have received full exemption or reduction of tuition and miscellaneous fees due to special circumstances in junior high and elementary schools, or government grants:( exemption or reduction )of tuition and miscellaneous fees (including tuition subsidies for the 12-year basic education).

( II).Students of schools or cram schools that do not have a specific academic system.
( III).Students who are auditing courses in public or private secondary or higher education institutions.
( IV).Students of schools with no specific duration of study.
( V).Those who have already received preferential treatment such as public funds or exemption/reduction of tuition and miscellaneous fees in accordance with the "Regulations on Preferential Treatment for Educational Expenses of Dependents of Military Personnel, Civil Servants, and Public School Teachers".
( VI).Already received other government grants( subsidies).subsidies.
