1. From January 1, 110 (2021), all foods containing pork and its edible parts sold or supplied must clearly indicate the origin of the pork ingredients in accordance with the law, to facilitate the public's free choice. In addition, food vendors without company registration or business registration (such as farmers selling their own produce or temporary vendors) selling the following unpackaged foods must also label "Product Name" and "Place of Origin (Country)": fresh, chilled, frozen, dehydrated, dried, crushed, ground, or simply cut peanuts, red beans, mung beans, black beans, soybeans, buckwheat, coix seeds, quinoa, sesame seeds, millet, garlic, shiitake mushrooms, tea leaves, red dates, goji berries, chrysanthemum, chicken, pork, lamb, and beef.

2. Further to the above, failure to comply with labeling requirements will be a violation of Article 22 or 25 of the Food Safety and Sanitation Act, and will be subject to a fine of not less than NT$30,000 and not more than NT$3,000,000 according to Article 47, subparagraph 10 of the same Act. If the origin labeling is false, it will be a violation of Article 28, paragraph 1 of the Food Safety and Sanitation Act, and will be subject to a fine of not less than NT$40,000 and not more than NT$4,000,000 according to Article 45 of the same Act.
